The darkened matter did long dwell, Transfixed airless and rigid under spell. Love remained harnessed to conception, and conception still unborn, Invisible darkness undiminished, was un-torn. Only the long sorrow of solitude in murky recollection, A memory that always echoes rejection. Till one day distant lamentations erected a wall Limitless limit, immeasurably did call. Deep chasm now sounded Void now bounded From the division time sprung No balance before, henceforth it could be hung. And soon from amidst unknowable great force a hole appeared, From there issuing forth, the first transfixing pinpoint of light was reared.
To the Lord and his divine muse, I give all reverence.
